New Uniforms will be introduced in Kendriya
Vidyalaya from next academic year- New
brand outfit to KV (Kendriya Vidyalaya) students, New Uniforms to Kendriya

Kendriya
Vidyalaya uniforms area all set for a revamp from next academic year. It is presumed that the present uniform the
blue and white dress give way to new colourful ones. Will tie will be introduced? New skirts for
upper primary girls ? New full sleeve
shirt for boys? The proposed change has
become a hot topic among the students ,
teachers and parents in the country. But
it may please be seen that the
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sankathan an
autonomous body under the MHRD is yet to
give a directive to 1087 schools
functioning under it.
Reports reveals
that the authorities have already enthrusted
designing the uniform to the National Institute of Fashion Technology. It is learnt that a change in the uniform may
take place next academic year. Most of
the authorities is in the opinion that the white colour shoud be substitutued as white is having the chance to get dirty
easily.
Students also
opined that the white colour should be changed because especially in the rainy
season white uniform get dirty very easily.
In the northern area schools
insists on ties and sweaters because the climate is extreamely cold “But now we
fear it will be made mandatory across the country. Some of the students are fully satisfied with
the current uniforms, one among them wanted to change the colour of Ribbon from
Red to a matching one.
Some students
says- ‘Girls are now supposed to wear
skirts till class 12. but I prefer churidars as is the practice now “ “An
overcoat will be introduced besides making the shirt full sleeved”
The change in
the uniform will be from next year onwards and the change will be gradual.
