In the year 1951
the school was started by Late sri. Ittoop Ambooken, the school has how
completed 58 years of glorious service in the field of education. Then Poyya
was are of the most villages in the Thrissur district. No land or building was
available to start in the year 1951 the school started with form 1 in a
thatched shed owned by Late sri Ittoop Ambooken. Sri. P.I. Ephrain was
appointed as principal Late Sri. Ittop Abooken took Memorial school in the year
1951 in honor of his beloved father.

To enlighten the
society at large through the hundreds of students who enter its portals in
pursuit of higher learning. To mould enlightened citizens fit to transform India
