It’s election time once again in Kerala. The office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Kerala, has made available the current voters list at their site – http://ceo.kerala.gov.in. Click on the Electoral Roll Search.
You can search by your name, relation name (usually surname), house name, or EPIC (Electoral Photo Identity Card) Number.
Note that this list will be different from the list published last year, for the local body elections. (“Bureaucratically”, the official voters list for Parliament/Assembly elections is different from the one used for Local Body elections!). Make sure you name is included in the list. If it is not, get in touch with your resident’s association representative or any local politician, to get it rectified. Note that the e-registration in the website is intended only for those who have completed 18 years of age in the last one year.
