Virgin coconut oil (VCO) and coconut oil are two forms of oil derived        from coconut. VCO is produced from fresh meat and ordinary coconut oil   from dried kernel called copra. VCO rich in vitamin E. It is also a major ingredient in soaps, lotitions, creams, lip balms etc. It has longer shelf life than coconut oil extracted from copra. VCO has also been found to be a rich source of monolaurin, and anti septic substance found in mothers  milk.





COCONUT OIL AND CURY LEAVES TO PREVENT
PREMATURE GRAYING
Curry leaves with coconut oil also delays premature graying of hair.     Take a bunch of curry leaves and grind it with little water to get a paste add this paste to 2 cups of coconut oil and heat the mixture till all the moisture evaporates. After it cools, store in a bottle. Apply the mixture to deal with gray hair problems.


COCONUT – BANANA MILK QUICKLE
Here’s a delicious recipe which you can try out at ease. Boil 21/2 cups coconut milk in a sauce pan. Add ¼ cup honey, 1/2 teaspoon salt and gently heat for 3 to 5 minutes. Now add 11/2 inch diagonal slices of bananas (4bananas per Quickie) and cook for 5 minutes. Need not stir.
