Banana Vada- Kerala specials.

Banana Vada  in curd mix.


Ingredients.

Raw Banana         5 Nos.
Maida                   50 gms.
Ginger               - 1 single piece
Red chili powder- 1 tea  spoon
Salt  to taste.
Curd                  -  500 gm.
Green chilies    - 10 chopped.
Coriander leaves  - as required.
Oil                         - for frying.

Making method.
Boil the Banana till tender.  Remove the skin and mash well with your hands till we get a smooth pulp.  Mix in a little maida so that it can be molded easily.   Take a little batter in the hands and shape into vadas making a small hole in the centre of each.    Deep fry till light brown color in hot oil. 
           
            Beat the curd till it reaches to a smooth consistency.  Add salt, ginger paste green chilli, coriander leaves and chilli powder.  10 minutes before serving dip vadas in the curd mixture.  Let it soak well and serve.
